Brays Road and Arcadia Drive Upgrade

Wattle Run Pty Ltd is pleased to announce that after months of working closely with the City of Moreton Bay Council, the Council has approved the detailed design and operational works applications, allowing us to progress with the construction of upgrades to Brays Road and a new connecting road, Arcadia Drive.
The first part of this process involves upgrading part of Brays Road, ensuring that this busy local arterial continues to accommodate the growing traffic volumes around the development in a safe environment for Griffin locals while providing access to the new Freshwater Hub precinct.
The second part involves building a new connecting road, Arcadia Drive. Arcadia Drive will provide access to the Freshwater Village and join Brays Road to Wesley Road, improving traffic flow in the area, particularly for the local school, Griffin State School.
We are currently undertaking a competitive tender process for the road infrastructure upgrades and site preparatory works for Freshwater Village.
Wattle Run Pty Ltd is committed to a fair and ethical tender evaluation process and is collaborating with the Council to ensure high standards are adhered to.
Once we have appointed a contractor, they will establish a site office, and civil works is expected to commence before Christmas or early next year.
Construction of the roads will take 12-18 months from contract commencement.
Further updates will follow when we can announce the appointed contractor. Construction will require traffic control measures or disruptions to services on Brays Road, so we will be working closely with the contractor to keep the community well informed.
